Government inquiry – share your caring experiences
The House of Lords Adult Social Care Committee has launched a major inquiry called “Lifting the veil: Removing the invisibility of adult social care”.
Susy Giullari, our Carers Policy, Engagement & Involvement Lead will be collecting responses from carers. She will be submitting this evidence to parliament.

Consultation on Changing Places Toilets
A national consultation is now open about government’s intention to increase the provision of Changing Places toilets, about whether this should be a mandatory requirement in building regulations and for which types of buildings/public spaces.
Government “non-response” on support for working carers
Earlier this year, Carers Support Centre provided evidence to The Work and Pensions Select Committee inquiry into the employment support that unpaid carers receive. The committee produced its recommendations on Support for carers and the Government has just published its response to these.
