Are you caring for someone who has dementia or a memory impairment? A new memory cafe is being launched in Soundwell.
Memory cafes are a regular space for people with dementia and their carers to find comfort and support.
The Soundwell cafe will take place on the second Monday of every month starting 11st September 2017. They will run between 10.15am and 12.15pm at The Retreat.
This cafe is run by Southern Brooks and their volunteers. For more details contact Winsome or Kirstie on 01454 868570 or email dementia@southernbrooks.org.uk
Other memory cafes run by Carers Support Centre staff take place regularly at Southmead, the BRI, and South Bristol Community Hospital. Contact CarersLine for details, or talk to our Carers Liason Service at the hospital.
