If you or the person you care for is sight impaired, Vision West of England have launched new regular drop in sessions; social and information sharing meetings; and one to one appointments with a sight advisor at Bedminster library.
The drop in and one-to-one sessions will run at the library the second Friday of each month, starting on Friday August 9th. The appointments, from 10am until 1pm, are for sight loss advice, equipment demonstrations and technology training. Then from 2-4pm they will hold a drop in session where they will have a wide range of resources for the sight impaired on display and a chance to chat with one of their sight advisors.
The weekly social and information sharing meet-up is a chance for those living with sight loss to get to know people in the same situation and will be held every Wednesday starting from July 24th from 12-1.45pm. Please call Marc for more information about the meetings on 0117 322 4885, or you can just turn up.
