As of 25th April 2019, the new SGPC Community Base will be open every Thursday from 10am – 2pm during term time at the Kingswood Community Centre.
The base is designed to be a welcoming space where parent carers can drop in and get support and information about helpful services or to have a cup of tea with someone who understands what life as a carer is like.
There will also be regular workshops and courses on everything from parenting strategies, specific disability issues and self-care.
