We Care Home Improvements (We Care) are holding a Living Well With Dementia event on Tuesday 10th December.
We Care Home Improvements invite you to visit them at their showroom in St Philips between 3pm-7pm on 10th December. They will be showcasing a wide range of products to help people with dementia live safely and independently at home.
Products can help with practical day-to-day activities, maintaining independence, increasing safety, reassuring loved ones, wellbeing and comfort and forgetfulness and communication. Their staff and an occupational therapist will be available to give advice on product suitability.
We Care are at 5 Hide Market, Waterloo Road, St Philips, Bristol BS2 0BH (parking is available onsite from 5pm).
About We Care Home Improvements
Local non-profit We Care helps vulnerable people with affordable home repairs and home adaptations. They work in Bristol Bath and North East Somerset, North Somerset, Gloucestershire and South Gloucestershire.
We Care support clients aged over 60, people of all ages with a disability, those on a low income and people coming out of hospital.
They also provide funded home improvement work for clients who would not otherwise be able to pay for it. For other clients, they help them access low cost loans. All their handypeople – who can do jobs like tiling, gutter clearing and shower repairs – are Trading Standards Approved.
We Care specialise in accessible bathrooms, handyperson services, occupational therapy, home independence products and home adaptations in Bristol and beyond. A local carer recently told us about their positive experience with them, both in terms of price and the friendliness of the service. We Care also attended our Carers Rights Day event on 21 November, where they spoke to carers about their services.
If you look after someone who needs home maintenance, adaptations or repairs, you can get in touch with We Care to find out what help they can offer you. For further information, call their helpline 0300 323 0700 or email info@wecr.org.uk.
