We have recently been awarded Trusted Charity Mark Level 2. This is a quality mark awarded by NCVO (National Council for Voluntary Organisations) for the excellent work we do as a third sector organisation.
It is a nationally recognised award and no other quality mark addresses all the essential areas necessary for the effective management and governance of a charity. We were assessed against the 11 standards of effective practice in Trusted Charity, including governance, leadership and management, managing staff and volunteers and managing money, and proved to meet all standards. This is now the third time we have achieved the Quality Mark.
We were recommended for the award in Keith Sinclair’s final week as CEO and have now been sent our certificate. The feedback from the assessors was extremely positive and it was clear to them that this is a great organisation, with a fantastic team of dedicated professionals delivering really positive outcomes, consistently for carers.
Huge congratulations to @CarersBSG for achieving the Level 2 Trusted Charity Mark award! Well done- this is the third time The Carers Support Centre (Bristol and South Gloucestershire) have achieved the Quality Mark. #ncvoqualitystandards #TrustedCharity @NCVO
