Join us on Carers Rights Day for information, help and advice on the cost-of-living crisis.
Carers Support Centre invites carers across Bristol and South Gloucestershire to join us on Carers Rights Day 2022 to discuss how the costs-of-living crisis affects carers and to get help and advice.
While all are being affected to some degree by the cost-of-living crisis, some are affected more than others and often carers fall into the category of hardest hit.
Even before the cost-of-living crisis really took hold, unpaid family carers in Bristol and South Gloucestershire were already under real financial pressure.
On Carers Rights Day, Thursday 24 November, Carers Support Centre will hold a free event at the Vassall Centre in Fishponds, and online via Zoom, between 10.30AM – 3PM where carers can:
- Find out about how the cost-of-living crisis is affecting carers in Bristol and South Gloucestershire.
- Ask questions of local authorities’ representatives.
- Find out about where and how to ask for support if you run into financial difficulties.
The event will also give people the chance to meet other carers, mingle, share food, browse stalls, enjoy free pampering, and join other carers for a Walk and Talk in nearby Vassall Park. Or, if you prefer, the event can be joined online from home via Zoom.
