In April more than 70 carers attended an event organised by the Health Integration Teams (HITs) of Bristol Health Partners.
This offered the opportunity for carers to find out about support, share experiences of being a carer; explain what support carers need, and get involved in the work of HITs to help improve the lives of carers. Also, the Health Integration Teams were able to take away a wealth of information to assist them in their ongoing work.
This was a valuable event that Carers Support Centre were delighted to help plan and facilitate.
