Time away from being a carer
Caring for someone can be hard and getting time off isn’t easy. Most carers need a break from time to time. It’s really important that you try to build in some time off for yourself, however hard that may seem.
Getting a break through a carer’s assessment
A carer’s assessment is an opportunity to let your local council know what support services you need. The assessment will look at how caring affects your life and how to address your own physical, mental and emotional needs.
