Dementia Carers Count are currently offering free spaces on their Dementia Carer Support Course. This is a three day residential course which takes place in Swindon on 25th – 27th June 2019.
Aimed at friends and family of people with dementia, the course is designed to support a wide range of carers in different situations. By attending you will gain a better understanding of the impact dementia can have, the types of dementia there are, as well as exploring different ways to respond to challenges. There will also be opportunity to think about your own wellbeing and discuss ways to enhance your resilience.
Please note, while the course is free, those attending will be offered opportunity to make a donation towards the work of Dementia Carers Count if they are able to.
The Course runs from 25th-27th June, 2019 at Chiseldon House Hotel near Swindon.
