Discover how to do more with your handheld tablet and mobile phone. Deafblind UK are holding a technology day at Bristol Eye Hospital on Tuesday 4th July.
There will be three sessions for attendees to choose from running throughout the day, each lasting for an hour and a half. During these sessions, attendees will learn things like; how to set zoom magnification and voice over screen reader for low vision users; discover specialist apps for the visually impaired; send emails, listen to music and even make a video call.
All sessions will be taught on handheld devices. Attendees may bring their own or borrow a device on the day. No previous experience of using devices necessary.
