Age UK Bristol is launching the Celebrating Age Festival on 23rd September 2017. The whole event offers something for everyone and is a fantastic opportunity to try your hand at a new craft, make new friends and share experiences.
There will be over 60 organisations attending the festival to share information on activities and services that are available throughout Bristol, as well as trained staff offering advice, health checks and massages.
The event is completely free and inside City Hall there will be our Fashion Show, Dance Performances, Crochet for Beginners, Qigong, Cooking Demonstrations, Pottery, Talks and more!
Additionally, on College Green ‘Active Ageing Bristol’ will be launching at the same time on Saturday the 23rd of September. This innovative programme delivers sport and physical activity opportunities for people ages 55+. Again it will be completely free to take part in, so come along to try out Rowing, as well as Walking Sports such as Rugby, Football, Netball and more!
The event will take place at City Hall on Saturday the 23rd of September 2017 and will be open to the public 10.30am-4pm.
