Bookings for the next Carers Week event are now open!
All Bristol and South Gloucestershire carers are warmly invited to our next annual Carers Week event.
Carers Support Centre invites unpaid carers, people providing support to family or friends who could not manage without their help across Bristol and South Gloucestershire to join us at our annual Carers Week 2023 event!
On Thursday June 8th, 10AM – 2PM, Carers Support Centre will hold a policy and engagement event at the Southmead Greenway Centre and online via Zoom. Our focus of the event will be around Discharge to Assess (D2A). Speakers will include:
- NHS Local Integrated Care Board’s Discharge to Assess Transformation Team
- Bristol City Council, Director of Adult Social Care
- South Gloucestershire Council, Service Director Commissioning Housing and Performance
The event will also give people the chance to meet other carers, network and enjoy the free lunch and pampering sessions. Carers will also have the opportunity to go on a Walk & Talk with members of staff at the local park after the event is concluded.
