All Bristol and South Gloucestershire carers are warmly invited to our annual Carers Rights Day open meeting.
Carers Rights Day is an opportunity for you to find out more about your rights as carers, and to find out how to get the help and support you are entitled to. This year Carers Rights Day will be on Friday 24th November.
We’ll be holding an open meeting for carers in Bristol and South Gloucestershire from 10.00am-1.30pm at the Vassall Centre.
The morning will include information on accessing direct payments and carers assessments. This will be a chance to find out more about how you can access these as carers and demystify the process. There will also be the opportunity to learn more about mindfulness and view information stalls from various local
organisations.
How do I book a place?
These are free events with buffet lunch included but it is essential to book by calling: 0117 958 9902 or using our contact form.

Note: Due to the popularity of these events it is no longer possible to bring the person you care for.
Alternative care costs: We can reimburse your alternative care expenses as well as travel costs – please bring receipts wherever possible.
