Battle Against Tranquillisers (BAT) is holding open forums and workshops in South Gloucestershire in October and November 2017.
BAT offers mutual support to anyone who wishes to consider the level of benzodiazepines etc. they take or to come off these tranquillisers. There is no pressure and clients are encouraged to be in charge of their own withdrawal. Family, friends and carers are also welcome.
Workshops and activities include reiki/mindfulness, service user stories, and carer and volunteer information.
These forums open forums will be taking place at:
Coniston Community Centre, Pathway, 2nd October, 2-4pm
DHI, Tower Road, Warmley, 11th October, 2-4pm
Ridgeway Centre, Yate, 12th November, 10am-12pm
Coniston Community Centre, Patchway, 20th November, 2-4pm
DHI, Tower Road, Warmley, 22nd November 2-4pm
